About Us

A-Star Learning is on a mission to enhance Kindergarten to Grade 12 students’ academic performance through personalized and affordable learning experiences that meet each student’s needs while developing intellectual, social and emotional competencies to thrive in our ever-changing world.

At A-Star, we do not have clients or students; we have family members we cherish and desire to succeed in school and life. We genuinely care about our scholars and their future. This is our differentiator - the passion and care we invest into each scholar's learning plan, and the warm and safe learning experiences we create when delivering programs that challenge them to master concepts that promote academic success and lifelong learning. We value, understand, and appreciate your child's uniqueness, so we create personalized learning plans aligned to the curriculum of your choice as we walk hand-in-hand with them from whatever level they are to achieve and exceed their learning goals.

Every child can learn if we create the right learning environment and experience for them.
— Ms. Wannie (Learning Director, A-Star Learning Inc.)

Through our seven years of existence, we have curated early years' numeracy and literacy programs, K-12 one-on-one tutoring in Math, Sciences (Physics, Biology, Chemistry), English Language Arts, French Language and Social studies, and Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs), Diploma and SAT examination preparation programs. We offer a Choose Your Learning Adventure program in the summer that introduces our scholars to coding, sewing, dance, touch typing, and learning advancement programs that prevent summer learning loss while developing life skills. In addition to the learning advancement program, which prepares scholars for their next grade, we have a bridging program that enables scholars to catch up and reinforce concepts before the next school year. These programs foster student agency, creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, essential to thrive in our ever-changing world.
